i got this when i was 17 it already had the rear arches and valance customized but was running a 2.0 b2000 Mazda engine and gearbox which was a load of shit. so outed the engine and planted a 2.0 pinto on bike carbs and 421, type 9 gearbox, mk2 escort rack and pinion, mk2 cross-member and 2.8 Capri legs. i then set about the tunnel as the man who made the old one ruined it. so me and me mate Dave measured up all the angles and got his old man to press it and cut it for us then just welded it in, it looked the nuts because it looked like a coffin but it done the job well. i then set about making the engine mounts which i used Capri ones but had to cut them down and re-weld as they were to long and i wernt on the ol forums then so i done all this by the word of me uncles and people in the no. i chopped and modded the Mazda cross-member and a standard sierra one and mated the pair which was a very strong outcome and sat quite high so there were no horrible scrapes. bought a rs2000 prop and modded that to fit. then tackled the handbrake. then it all went wrong as i grew up i swapped it for a stage 2 s13 drift car which i dinged at Essex arena then sold for 1650. but i then found my mk2 4door escort (HAPPY DAYS) which i am now turning into my little drift weapon. that was among many of my other cars i have owned over the years mainly fords...... if anyone knows were this is now i would be very grateful of ya knowledge cheers.
